Here we go again?

Love them or hate them~dating sites are everywhere.

I’m no stranger to them but for the time being I’m giving them all a swerve.

Although its got me thinking about the funny side of them~after all that is how ‘Crazy little thing called love’ came about almost 3years ago.

From the funny conversation starters
‘I’ve lost my number can I have yours?’

To the fairly obvious ‘What are you doing on here?’ Erm I am single,so I guess I am on here for the same reason as you?!

Not forgetting the classic~’why are you single?’ Now that’s a question only the brave would want an honest answer to haha.

To the first dates~turning up late with nail glue stuck in my teeth and a broken shoe.

Not eating as I can never eat on a first date (no matter how hungry I am.)

Either not being able to string two words together or suffering from verbal diarrhoea (not sure which is worse to be honest!)

Then there is that awkward moment when you turn up to find that your date looks nothing like their profile picture #awkward.

Who would of thought that finding love could have so many challenges, at least there has been lots of giggles along the way.

Speaking of which I love this application form!

Me…

Having recently restarted my blog. I thought I would introduce myself and tell you a little about me.

I am a 42yrs old,sleep deprived,coffee loving Mum of 2 teenagers.

I had hoped by now that I would have my life in some kind of order but organisation and I don’t really fit together in the same sentence!

Anyhow this is me….

I have been married, divorced, engaged and single. My current relationship status is probably best described as ‘is joining a nunnery an option for me?’ hee hee.

I look forward to sharing the highs and lows of life, parenting and that crazy little thing called love.

A new start…

So here I am with a new blog page~ but with the same content which I hope you will continue to enjoy.

Sometimes in life you realise that the bad days propel you into the better days.

The tears of sadness begin to subside and are slowly replaced with ones of joy.

That a new chapter in life, although may be scary can be an amazing thing.

The past has its place for lessons learnt and memories made~move forward,be brave, take with you what you need but leave the things that hold you back and hurt you.

Here’s to many more memories to share, smiles to be had and love to surround us all.❤x
