Smiley Saturday

Wow~what a saturday it’s been.
Took my Mum for her second covid vaccine, had cuddles with my beautiful great niece whilst seeing my fab family and had my hair cut.

Whilst driving home~I treated the other drivers on the A24 to some car karaoke, how lucky are they?!
I do wish we all lived nearer though~40 miles may not sound a lot but some days it feels like 400 miles.
Family is everything.❤x

Bird sh**t central

I’ve lived by the sea for a fairly long time now and I love everything about it with the exception of the Seagulls.

Not only do they make a racket at any given time of day they have also decided to target my car with their daily offerings!

I kid you not it’s like bird sh**t central here at the moment, especially after washing the car which I have taken to doing regularly~when I say I , what I actually mean is the car wash cleans it but you get my drift.

Anyhow yesterday morning they had decided that my windscreen looked like a good place for target practise.

Ordinarily this would be easily solved by using the windscreen wipers and screenwash, however not only is my car void of any screenwash, I cannot open the bonnet to put any in!

I would say there are many technical reasons for this but quite frankly I just cannot get the bonnet open and need Ads to do it for me~add into the mix having had my nails done and there was no way that bonnet was going to be opened anytime soon.

So I ran indoors and grabbed a pint glass of water, which I hastily threw over the windscreen, aware that my neighbour was looking at me with a look of amusements on his face whilst clearly thinking wtaf?!

Small steps…

This time last year, I’d never set foot in the gym and certainly didn’t think it would ever be for me.

I can remember the first time I did, as usual it was a whirlwind spur of the moment decision to join but as I pulled up in the car park, the urge to drive off was suddenly very real.

For a start I felt far too self conscious to stroll in wearing my gym stuff.

To my absolute amazement I really liked it and I can honestly say I have never looked back.

So much so that this morning I was in the gym at 7.30am, did my workout and then went for a seafront walk in my gym outfit, grabbed a coffee and couldn’t careless if my bum looks big in my leggings!

Happy Monday.❤x

Nobody said it was easy

Single and trying to navigate the world of online dating was never going to be easy.

Dating apps are everywhere and the same faces tend to pop up on them all~including mine!

This particular email made me chuckle when I saw it in my inbox ‘Natalie they meet your expectations ‘.

Expectations? That word has huge meaning ,anyone would think that I am sitting here with a long list of expectations for any suitable male to have to wade through!

Besides that~I’ll be the judge of who meets my expectations thanks very much and trust me it will take more than a photograph and a few typed out words that’s for sure.

Maybe that’s why I’m still single haha.❤x
