I’ve spent quite some time lately thinking about how things change,sometimes without even noticing what’s right in front of our very eyes.
For example~when I first become a parent everyone talked about firsts, first tooth, first steps, first word etc.
Those big milestones which are celebrated. No one told me about how the milestones change and evolve over time, one day its their first day at school and in the next breath you are waving them off on their first trip abroad with a friend!
I am immensely proud of my two (not so little)children. They are both growing into hard working, lovely people who are chasing their dreams and making the most of every day. Dream big guys and go for it, the world is your oyster. You both make me prouder than you’ll ever know.❤️x

Adam asked me if I would iron his new jeans this morning. No problem at all apart from the fact I couldn’t find the iron because ironing is something I avoid unless it’s absolutely essential, and running my hair straightners over the item of clothing won’t be sufficient!
Anyhow, as I began ironing, I had a flashback to my Dad ironing a pair of jeans for me when I was about 17yrs old. I remember standing in the kitchen with a look of absolute horror on my face as he held them up beautifully ironed with a perfect crease down them!!
‘What have you done to my jeans?’ ‘What do you mean?’ ‘Jeans don’t have a crease down them!!’ ‘Well you want to look smart don’t you?!’ I can hear this conversation right now as clear as day. I’m laughing about it now and its made me smile.
A memory so small that means so much, thanks Dad~I needed that today, further proof that those who we lose never go away they always here in one way or another. Happy Sunday~may you’re ironing pile be small and you’re coffee strong.❤️x
