Sunday Lunch

We are very excited that my Mum is coming to see us today for lunch.
It feels like an absolute age since she has been here.

I’ve already text her to see if she has some yorkshire puddings she can bring~you just know she’ll have a stash of homemade ones in the freezer ready for any occasion!

The sun is shining again today,my flowers are blooming and the Gammon that’s cooking smells good.

I hope that we never ever take the small things in life for granted again.❤x

I did it

I wanted to do it but when I woke up this morning I didn’t want to do it.
I had plenty of reasons (excuses)for not wanting to including the fact that it was raining/snowing, I felt uncomfortable with myself in my clothes, I was tired the list of excuses could of been endless.

However I did it~I got up and went to the gym. It felt like starting all over again.
I had just got myself into a routine of going and then lockdown 3 took care of that.

I was self concious walking in but once I got started it was fine.

6 miles on the bike later and I left feeling a hundred times better than I did when I woke up this morning.

Small steps for a big gain both mentally and physically.

Happy Monday~now pass me the coffee! ❤x

Treasure Hunt

On Tuesday we set off for a train ride to sunny Brighton.

To embark on a ‘Treasure Hunt’ .

Which was fabulously organised and right at our fingertips.

I loved the whatsapp style of receiving clues which allows you to ask for hints and help should you need it.

Aswell as the fascinating facts that were very interesting and nice to uncover about a much loved place to visit .

Within our team~2 adults and 2 teenagers, we decided I would read the clues and facts and the others would map read and be on extra lookout!

This worked well and between us we soon got into the swing of it.

It took us roughly 2.5 hours to complete which may of included a quick stop or 2 for coffee~of course!

The treasure hunt, took us around Brighton town, down the lanes and also along the seafront, which was a really lovely walk, so much to see and take in on our way round, which kept everyone entertained and occupied.

The treasure hunt was a great way to see Brighton in a different and was a hit with both the adults and teenagers alike and if that’s not a win then I don’t know what is hee hee.

A big thank-you to https://treasurehuntbrighton.com/?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=crazylittlethingcalledlove.co.uk

for a lovely day out.❤x

*our treasure hunt was gifted to us, all reviews/thoughts are my own*.
