With the weather gloomy and rainy outside. We have decided to bring a touch of spanish flavour into our kitchen with a different take on our favourite Paella dish.
This recipe is quick and simple to follow, with vibrant tastes, colours and textures, including the versatile spice Turmeric.
You will need..
1 tbsp olive oil.
2 chicken breasts cut into chunks.
2 small onions finely sliced.
140g cooking chorizo sliced.
300g paella rice.
850mls hot chicken or vegetable stock.
200g frozen peas.
schwartzturmeric can be used to add a twist to many recipes including both sweet and savoury.
Find it at your local Tesco store.
Why not try it in in your pancake mix, on homemade chips or even spice up your roast potatoes with a hearty sprinkle .
Who knows where this could take your taste buds~adding flavour and colour to entice even the fussiest eater.
Get the kids involved and you too could cook up a storm in the kitchen. (Just make sure they help with the washing up afterwards!).
This is always a definite hit in our house
bringing a taste of sunshine, holiday’s and good memories.
